The challenge

Cement is an essential ingredient for concrete but is also environmentally catastrophic. Today, the cement industry is responsible for around 8% of all global emissions per year—around three times that of the aviation industry.

Challenge accepted

alcemy is pioneering a new path forward for cement production. Their clever AI and prediction tooling allow cement producers to reduce the clinker needed for cement while upholding quality, leading to cement with up to 65% lower emissions.
